Coloplast & Instant Exhibitions: Reusable Stand Design That Delivers

When innovation is central to your brand, your presence at a major industry event needs to reflect that. For Coloplast, a global leader in healthcare products, the BAUS Annual Scientific Meeting in Manchester presented an opportunity to do just that—with help from Instant Exhibitions.

A division of Instant Promotion, Instant Exhibitions specialises in bespoke, reusable stand solutions for brands that want to make a lasting impact. For Coloplast, we delivered a 6m x 6m island stand that was as functional as it was visually striking.

Making the Most of Every Square Metre

With all four sides open to passing foot traffic, the stand was designed to invite exploration. Inside, distinct spaces were tailored for hospitality, conversation, and demonstration—supporting Coloplast’s aim to engage healthcare professionals in a relaxed but informative setting.

The layout was clean and architectural, with wood-effect flooring, integrated planter displays and modern furnishings that aligned seamlessly with Coloplast’s clinical identity. At the centre, a fully equipped coffee counter served up barista-made drinks, offering guests a moment to pause and connect.

Designed Once, Built to Travel

Coloplast needed a solution that could go beyond a single event. That’s where our modular system came in. The stand’s frame and structure were designed with future flexibility in mind. Seamless SEG fabric graphics—printed on sustainable material—made visual updates simple and sustainable.

Whether it’s a change of venue, layout or messaging, this stand is ready to adapt.

All-In-One Support from Instant Exhibitions

Instant Exhibitions managed every detail: from concept and design to transport, setup, and breakdown. When the show wrapped, our team packed the stand safely for storage, ready for its next appearance. That’s the beauty of a full-service partner—less to juggle, more to gain.

A Closer Look at the Stand

Behind every standout exhibition presence is a carefully considered design—one that balances brand storytelling with functional space planning. Here’s how we brought that balance to life for Coloplast.

Modular Island Design

The modular island stand created for Coloplast maximised visibility with 360-degree access, clean architectural lines, and striking backlit branding—proving that reusability doesn’t mean compromising on impact.

Built on a 6m x 6m footprint, the island configuration ensured the stand was accessible from every angle—maximising exposure and encouraging steady foot traffic throughout the event. The open-plan layout supported natural movement, creating an inviting environment for delegates to stop, explore, and engage.

Constructed using our modular aluminium framework, the stand can be reconfigured or scaled as needed for future exhibitions. It’s a practical choice for brands like Coloplast who exhibit regularly and want long-term return on their investment.

End-to-End Project Delivery

From the first design sketch to post-show breakdown, our team handled every detail. Coloplast benefited from our full-service support, which includes:

  • Initial design consultation and 3D visuals
  • On-site installation and breakdown
  • Transport, warehousing, and secure storage between events

This hands-off approach allows clients to stay focused on event goals while we take care of the logistics.

SEG Displays & Brand Visibility

Seamless SEG graphics provided crisp, high-resolution branding while allowing easy updates for future shows. Backlit frames and modular structure enhanced both visibility and flexibility.

Bold visual impact was delivered through seamless SEG (silicone edge graphics) printed on sustainable fabric. These tensioned panels offer a crisp, frameless finish that’s ideal for clean branding—while also being lightweight, durable, and easy to update.

Backlit Coloplast logos created strong visibility across the exhibition hall, particularly under the overhead lighting at Manchester Central. And because the graphics are modular and reusable, they can be refreshed with minimal environmental impact.

Thoughtful Furnishings and Features

The stand’s hospitality zone combined functionality and comfort with bar seating, greenery, and a clean AV display—making it easy for attendees to engage in meaningful conversations in a relaxed setting.

At the heart of the stand was a hospitality counter complete with professional barista service—offering attendees a place to pause, refuel, and engage in conversation.

Surrounding this focal point were soft lounge seating areas, custom cabinetry for AV and product displays, and carefully chosen decorative details like integrated planter displays. The wood-effect flooring helped soften the space, striking the right balance between clinical and comfortable.

Built for What’s Next

This wasn’t a one-and-done build. With a smart modular layout, high-quality materials, and sustainable graphics, Coloplast’s stand is ready for the next show—and the one after that. Reuse doesn’t have to mean compromise. In fact, it’s often the smarter, more strategic choice.
