Material Certifications:

  • CPAI-84: The CPAI-84 (Canvas Products Association International) certification is a standard for flame-resistant fabrics, commonly used for tents, awnings, and other outdoor structures. It ensures that materials meet rigorous fire safety requirements, providing a high level of protection against ignition and reducing the spread of flames in outdoor environments. Compliance with CPAI-84 is crucial for ensuring the safety and durability of products used in public and commercial settings.

  • NFPA 701: NFPA 701 is a fire safety standard set by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) for fabrics and textiles. It ensures that materials meet specific flammability tests to prevent rapid ignition and the spread of fire. Often used for curtains, drapes, and event displays, this certification is essential for ensuring that fabrics used in indoor spaces meet strict fire safety guidelines and help protect people and property in the event of a fire.

  • ULC-109: ULC-109 is a certification standard for flame-resistant fabrics used in Canada. Issued by Underwriters Laboratories of Canada (ULC), it ensures that materials meet the necessary fire safety requirements for both commercial and industrial applications. ULC-109 certified fabrics are tested for their ability to resist ignition and slow the spread of flames, offering protection in high-risk environments such as construction sites and public events.

  • OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100: OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 is an internationally recognised certification that ensures textiles are free from harmful chemicals and substances. Fabrics certified under this standard are tested for safety across all stages of production, from raw materials to finished products. The certification demonstrates that the textiles meet strict environmental and health criteria, ensuring that they are safe for human use and do not pose a risk to consumers or the environment.

Eco-Friendly Materials

We are delighted to announce that we are now using eco-friendly materials wherever possible! This change reflects Instant Promotion’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact. From recycled materials to environmentally conscious inks, we are ensuring that our products not only meet the highest standards of quality but also contribute to a healthier planet. By choosing us, you are supporting a business that values responsible practices and is dedicated to building a greener future.

RPET – Recycled Polyester

Our RPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) is produced by recycling existing polyester materials. These are cleaned, broken down into pellets, and then melted to form a thread, which is woven into brand new fabrics.

For our branded gazebo fabrics and branded table covers, we use a minimum of 95% recycled post-consumer polyester.

By using existing plastic, we are reducing our carbon footprint, as the recycling process for polyester requires less energy than producing new polyester. Additionally, by repurposing materials that would otherwise end up in landfills, we are helping to cut down on greenhouse gas emissions, as well as minimising microplastics, chemicals, and other harmful substances that can pollute wastewater.

From a customer’s perspective, this means you can enjoy the same high-quality, commercial-grade, heavy-duty fabrics you’ve come to expect— but with a much smaller impact on the planet!

Eco-Friendly Inks

We use premium-quality Italian inks for our sublimation printing, which are water-based and free from harmful chemicals such as alkylphenolethoxylates (APEs). These inks also incorporate Nanodot Technology, ensuring an even, precise print quality while reducing emissions during the printing process. They fully comply with the European EC Directive 2003/53/CE, underscoring our commitment to environmentally responsible manufacturing.

Moreover, these inks are free from animal products and are not tested on animals, making them a vegan-friendly alternative to other inks that may contain animal fats or shellac.
