Spider Dome Expo

As well as deciding on size and artwork, another important consideration is whether to proceed with a sealed or non-sealed / constant air model. The sealed air dome takes a few minutes longer to inflate but features a durable 0.3mm PVC inside bladder well protected by the outer 600D graphic wrap. The dome can remain inflated for up to 24 hours and pressure release valve technology helps guard against temperature and air pressure fluctuations during usage. Ideal for events where mains and generator power won’t always be available.

Our constant air Expo is available with a full dye sublimation print onto a thick 600D nylon or as a digital print onto 420D (see 5x5m Excel image for example). Constant air domes come with a powerful but quiet fan built into one of the legs, or as an external unit if the 6m or 8m option is chosen. They require constant power from a 240v power source and can inflate in as little as 3-4 minutes. As air is always circulating inside the dome, if a small puncture were to appear, this won’t affect the domes performance which means any repairs can be completed after your event. The constant air Expo is ideal for putting up and taking down multiple times each day where brand awareness is key!

Every Spider Dome Expo is inside lined with a 190D waterproof layer, ensuring outdoor use all year round. Interchangeable door panels offer a great way to switch artwork when promoting multiple brands at various events and exhibitions.

Multiple tethering points are available with heavy-duty D rings added at the base of the structure and two-thirds of the way up the legs. PVC tarpaulin foot pockets protect the structure’s legs from uneven/rough ground whilst also providing a discrete hiding place for weights plates to be stored (see Expo image library).

The natural curved shape of the dome is ideal for allowing strong winds to pass over and around the dome causing less resistance than if a standard aluminium gazebo. The lower overall weight and smaller packed downsize (see Specification tab) also ensure the Expo is a mobile solution that can be carried to the event location by 1-2 people. We recommend a two person set up at all times but a 3x3m and 4x4m dome can be safely inflated by one person and we will be happy to provide additional guidance.
