The Spider Dome XL is available in 10m, 12m and 15m diameter, 6 leg options. Due to the size and weight of each dome they are only available in a constant air design which ensures maximum air pressure at all times. Depending on the size chosen, one or two quiet but powerful blowers are provided and run from a 240v power source.
Every Spider Dome XL is inside lined with a 190D waterproof layer, ensuring outdoor use all year round. As air is always circulating inside the dome, if a small puncture were to appear, this won’t affect the domes performance which means any repairs can be completed after your event. Interchangeable door panels also offer a great way to switch artwork when promoting multiple brands at various events and exhibitions.
Tethering points are provided with heavy duty D rings added at the base of the structure and two-thirds of the way up the legs. PVC tarpaulin foot pockets protect the structure’s legs from uneven / rough ground whilst also providing a discrete hiding place for weights plates to be stored (see Spider Dome Expo image library).
The natural curved shape is ideal for allowing strong winds to pass over and around the dome causing less resistance than if built from a metal framework. Compared to other structures of its size, the XL is lightweight and compact and can be delivered to any site location on a single pallet / in a small wheel based van. We would recommend 3-4 people for dome set up with low-intensity responsibilities involving correctly positioning legs, adding weights plates and ratchet strapping to the ground. The majority of set up work is done for you when the fan(s) is turned on!

Using Templates:
It is highly recommended that you use a vector program such as Adobe Illustrator to setup artwork. This ensures that the designer can view layers and guildelines within the templates for proper artwork placement. Where multiple wall / canopy / leg designs are being used on one dome, please use as many templates as required.
